It is honestly very frustrating for small to medium sized businesses, we have multiple users who all have the same subscriptions - each month we need to reconcile our accounts for tax and can never tell which invoices we have and which we don't. Because the invoices are not emailed it is a manual task for one person to notify all users, then a manual task for each user to log in, download the invoice and email to the accounts department.
It is 2021.

Invoices by e-mail get caught in the spam folder. Just one disadvantage.
For teams there is the possibility to take a Team subscription instead of individual subscriptions. There are several advantages for you in this package:

FYI: we pay for the year. One payment. This is also important for us as each invoice needs specific treatment and generates a lot of hidden cost.
OK, there is also one disadvantage: It costs a little more than the individual licence, but it's still worth to consider.
