Hello all,
I was charged money without having a Payment Plan for Creative Cloud. I didn't even give Adobe permission to do this. I don't even know how Adobe got access to my credit card. I never linked it to my Adobe account.
Is there anything I can do to ensure Adobe doesn't do this in the future?
They did this on April 21st, 2023. I tried reaching an agent, but they didn't respond to me. And now, the bot is closed. And I can't call anyone at Adobe because I don't meet the requirements that I need in order to call them.
any help would be very much appreciated.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter:
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

Joshua, sorry for any problems you are encountering while trying to manage your Creative Cloud All apps plan. You can use the steps listed at https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html if you want to begin the cancellation process.
Please see https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/enterprise-id-faq.html for info on choosing between the individual plan and the one managed by your educational institution. If you are signed in under the plan managed by your organization, then you will not be able to cancel the plan. You could also be blocked from contacting us, but you should receive a message to contact your Creative Cloud plan administrator if your school blocked chat access.
The advice provided by Kglad is excellent for completing the instructions in https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html as the same thing that prevented you from contacting us, Joshua, could block you from interacting with the necessary web forms.

Hi there,
Happy to help!
We have checked your account and we see that you have an active Creative Cloud subscription under the email address associated with the community which is an annual contract paid in one lump sum. Your subscription will automatically renew on your annual renewal date until you cancel.
Please log in to the Adobe account and you should be able to see all the active plans.
Please follow the link below which has the steps on how to cancel a subscription.
https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html
Also, please read the article to learn about cancellation terms for your subscription.
https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html#cancel
If you have any further questions related to billing please feel to contact the Support team as suggested earlier.
Hope the information was helpful to you. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
Rashmi Swain
