Fraudulent Adobe charges that need to be resolved

Dear Adobe Legal Team:

 

I became aware of fraudulent, unauthorized, recurring transactions from Adobe Inc, dating back to 12/31/19. I never had an Adobe account or used Adobe products. No one else has access to my card number, Visa debit card ending last 6 digits XXXXXX.

 

The total of the fraudulent activity is $59.94. Visa services credited me for two transactions, totaling $19.98. I request that Adobe credit the remaining 4 transactions totaling $39.96.

 

I have spoken with Adobe customer service and have been hung up on twice and transferred around multiple times, with no results. I have chatted multiple times from the Adobe.com web chat, and no help has been offered. Adobe chat requested that I open an account so that they could follow up with me. I opened an account with email address... 

 

There are no other email addresses or other people associated with this card. Adobe phone and chat help have said that they cannot help because there are no accounts in my name and no record of Visa debit transactions made to my account. At this point, I must believe that another entity is committing fraud by using the Adobe name and phone number. The documentation that follows shows the information on the fraudulent transactions provided by my bank. 

 

I request that Adobe rectify this situation. If that is not done, then my next step is to contact the California Attorney General.

This is neither the legal team nor Adobe customer service.  This is a product user-to-user forum. 

 

Your card may have been compromised without your knowledge.  If you are CERTAIN you or a family member didn't order a subscription, contact your bank immediately.  The longer you wait, the less chance of recovery.   BTW, you really should check bank statements more frequently than 7 months.

 

Adobe cannot help you directly with fraudulent charges.  They can only work with law enforcement.
