I have fraudulent charges on my AMEX. I've found that the charges are linked to a girls name and company that ive never heard of. I called the company and they have never heard of the girl. Ive tried to speak to Adobe at least 4 times but the online chat people just disconnect the call. I've spoken to amex and have listed all the authorisation numbers for ADobe. I have an Adobe case number and have also made 2 reports to their external ethics / whistleblower number. I followed up the whistlblower report today and Adobe had closed it without advising me why or what about so we created a new one. Its over $2100 in fraudulent charges. Please help me.

reporting to your credit card company is sufficient.

It's not really as Adobe has actually taken the money from my credit card. My credit card has not been compromised. It's someone at Adobe creating fake accounts and using my credit card. It's the second time it's happened.

you're reporting fraud here, and that's unproductive.

I had no alternative. The online customer chat would end the call each time. I e reported it twice to the ethics hotline. When I checked back a month later Adobe had closed my complaint with no reason why. There are no phone numbers listed for help on the teams page. Just this community. I've tried everything to get in touch with Adobe apart from book a flight and land in their Californian doorstep. So now I have some people answering my questions and helping. Listening. I don't have to start the story again each time in chat to a person on line. This is the most productive it's been in over a month since the fraudulent account activity was identified on my credit card. It's progress.

We appreciate you reaching out. I can see that your email is associated with an annual prepaid Adobe Acrobat Pro plan since last 4 years and 11 months. Are you talking about these charges? If yes, please contact your bank as suggested by the expert above.

Hi Shiv. No im not! From my investigations the 10 monthly charges are for a woman they named as Mounica Bathina for a company called Panthom Engineering. Both have nothing to do with me. Apparently it's a TEAMS account. I found the company online. They are in Melbourne Australia . They don't have anyone working there by that name. This is a fraudulent account for a person that does not exist. This Mounica's email address is apparently a Gmail address. So Adobe have attached my credit card to a fake profile and account. I have all the authorisation numbers from AMEX. This is a scam
Of some description. How do I get help and get this money returned ??!

I have thank you. However Adobe has set up an account for a fake person attached to a company where they do not work. This is an Adobe problem. They did not get authorisation to take this money from my account. My AMEX has not been compromised. Again. This is an Adobe issue. They didn't once before teaching an ex employees account to my account and renewing subscription. Even when that employee no long worked for me, the email address no longer existed and the credit card she originally set up her account with was cancelled. This is an ongoing known issue at Adobe and it needs to be stopped.

it's unlikely anyone as unsavvy as yourself would have "proof" this scam was perpetrated by "Adobe". ie, ask someone you trust for help and show them this thread (https://community.adobe.com/t5/account-payment-plan-discussions/fraudulent-charges-on-my-amex/m-p/15...) so they can tell help you..

As said by kglad , you need to contact the AMEX card issuer to recover fraudulent charges, cancel that AMEX account, and open a new AMEX account.

Thanks for your message. I've advised AMEX and they are working with me to stop Adobe taking money from a fake account. My credit card details have not been compromised however. It is Adobe who have linked my credit card to a fake account that they created. This is adobes issue and the second time they have done this.

The forum is safe, but there are bots that patrol the internet that search for email addresses to sell to SPAM operators.
