Free Trial Cancellation

I downloaded InDesign for a school project with the free trial plan. I only used it for like 8 hours and immediately cancelled the free trial plan. But after 7 days, I received an email that I have to pay for the monthly fee. Any Adobe employee out there reading this, please HELP!
