Free trial payment refund - not charged yet

Hello!

I've started a free trial and forgot to cancel it after 7 days. I've cancelled it today (1 day after free trial) and I've read that if I cancel the subscription in first 14 days I'll get a refund.

Today I got a message from my bank, that Adobe wants to charge me for this first month, but I don't have enough money on my account. I can't contact Adobe (chatbox won't help and there's no way to talk to real people) with this problem. I was wondering if cancellation of subscription in the first 14 days gives me a refund, maybe if I won't get charged (because of lack of money on my account) the system will know that there's no refund to be made and it will all be clear.

I won't have the money to eventually spend on that till next month, so I was wondering how to deal with this problem. Do I wait this month, then my account gets charged and I later get a refund?

Correct answer kglad

you'll get a refund if you pay the money. ie, with your card failure, you're account can't be rectified. ie, contact adobe support but be prepared to pay that first month and then get refunded.

Best is to contact Adobe customer service on this. Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Important: Adobe does NOT contact you unsolicited by e-mail or direct message. If you get contacted by direct message from a person, claiming to be an Adobe employee, look at that profile and look, if they bear the “Adobe Employee” marking under their name. Adobe support does not use Skype to give you support.

If in doubt, ask the forum.
