[Google Play] - Adobe Lightroom Trial Refund

Hi all,

As I'm currently travelling, I missed the cancellation window for the Lightroom trial on my Android phone by a couple of hours. I have no use for a year-long subscription.

2 members from the Adobe chat support are adamant that they can't do anything and that I need to contact Google.

Google, via email, are telling me to contact Adobe through the dev email, which is unmanned.

I'm also pretty sure the Adobe chat agents are wrong because I was able to refund another subscription purchased at the same time as Lightroom by directly contacting the devs.

How do I contact the devs if the support email (LrAndroid-Feedback@adobe.com) is unmonitored?

Reponse from Google:

Your request:

1 order(s) rejected for a total of A$75.99

Premium Yearly 100GB (Lightroom Photo & Video Editor) - GPA.3391-6024-0769-44995..0 - A$75.99

What can you do next?

Important: The developer must respond to you within 3 business days on this issue.

App developers have their own refund policies. If your case meets their policy requirements, you might receive a refund from them in accordance with the Terms of Service.

To contact the developer, send an email to the developer's official email address. Make sure to include:

  • Transaction IDs
  • Transaction dates
  • Payment amount and currency
  • Reason for the refund request

they are correct.  you need to work with the vendor (google play), though you don't have a strong argument/position.

Android devs receive the payment, they also initiate refunds.

+ Google agent telling me to contact the devs

+ the experience I had refunding the FLTR app subcription after cancelling it on Google Play = one email to the devs
