Hard to cancel Adobe

So I was informed my Adobe subscription would automatically renew on or near August 7, 2024.  I made a calendar invite to wake up early on August 7 to cancel.  I woke up at 6:30 and went online to cancel my monthly subscription.  I saw my bank account was automatically charged a monthly fee by Adobe before 6am PST.  I went online to see what my recourse was.  I went to cancel my account on my account page only to find that I would be charged a fee.  I spent another 20 minutes trying to find a workaround with no luck.  If anyone from Adobe reads this message,  I would be happy to get some guidance.  I am angry and feel deceived.  I am not sure if accurate but heard a class action lawsuit is either already proceeding or in the works for Adobe using this hard to cancel tactic.  Again, I would love to hear from anyone from Adobe.  Thank you

contact adobe support asap and explain.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

    chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
    and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

    twitter/x:
    tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
