Question

How Can I get a subscription refund?

I subscribed to Adobe Acrobat Pro free trial in March (I can't remeber if I cancelled), and I only used it once. I know that my subscription was suspended due to failed renewal, because I regularly check my mail. I checked my bank account today, only to discover that I was billed 2 days ago, and this happened without prior notice. How do I get a refund please, because I don't intend to continue the plan, which is why I didn't renew when it elasped.

check your account, https://account.adobe.com

what's it show?

eg, an active subscription?

if so, make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, check your account (https://account.adobe.com) for a payment problem. all payment problems must be resolved before cancellation is enabled, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

Hi Sandra_Asagade,

We appreciate you reaching out. I reviewed your account details and found that you have an active annual subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro since 7+months. Refunds can only be issued if the cancellation is done within first 14 days.

Since this is a plan with annual commitment, it comes at a discounted rate. You may be asked to pay an early termination fees for cancelling the plan before term end.

You can refer to the articles shared by the expert above.

I have read the T&C. Shouldn't there be a way to stop the subscription? I'm already hurt that this renewal happened, but then, what's the way forward? I do not intend to even use this subscription. How can I cancel without the early termination fee? I need a sollid and clear response please
