How long is an activation code valid for?

My annual subscription for Photoshop Photography Plan doesn't expire for about another six months but Amazon are currently selling subscriptions for 33% off. If I purchase a subscription now, can I wait six months until I activate the code (when my current subscription expires) or is the code only valid for a specific length of time?

DevonBee, please be very careful of the plan you are purchasing and any conditions that are applied.  If you bought exactly the same plan from the same reseller/provider, then you can follow the instructions in https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/redemption-code-help.html and redeem the plan when the current subscription expires.
