How to get verification code sent to my phone

My email address has changed and I do not have access to the old one.  At login, I am asked to change my password, with a verification code sent to my old email address which I cannot get to.

How can I have the verification code sent to my phone?

Log-in to your account and click this link https://account.adobe.com/

    or

This is a public forum, you need the link to Adobe support, not other users
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link below
-you must also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for this to work
    https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/support.html for chat or https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
-click the chat icon at the bottom right of the page to open a chat session
-the chat icon looks like '3 dots inside a circle' at the lower right
-type AGENT into the chat window to connect directly to a person rather than the AI
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
    .
Also: beware of answering anyone who sends you a private message

Change your primary and secondary e-mail addresses by logging -in below.

    https://account.adobe.com/profile

If you still need help, scroll down to Contact Adobe on the same page.  Wait times may be longer than normal due to Covid-19.  Please be patient.

    Thanks, Nancy

The problem is I can't sign in to my account, because the email for that account is no longer valid; and during the sign in procedure, a code is sent to the now dead email address.  Someone at Adobe needs to  change my email address for me.
Referral to the standard "Log-in to your account" page is not helpful.
Going to the Contact Adobe tag at the bottom of the page does not lead to any new contact methodology.

    David,

Please contact support by phone M-F during normal business hours.  Google "Contact Adobe support" for the phone number in your region.

Thanks John, but that wasn't much help.

The problem is I can't sign in to my account, because the email for that
account is no longer valid; and during the sign in procedure, a code is
sent to the now dead email address. Someone at Adobe needs to change my
    email address for me.

Referral to the standard "Log-in to your account" page is not helpful.

I don't think I can make the problem any clearer.
