I do not have any active Adobe subscriptions. I used to but the card it was under was cancelled and I decided to never update since I wasn't using Adobe enough. Just noticed I have been getting charged on my newer card somehow yet when I go to my Adobe account I do not have any subscriptions. This is a double edged sword because since I do not have a paid subscription I am unable to speak to someone on the phone (what kind of company does this???). So what am supposed to do? This is theft and I am stuck because I cannot find a way to speak to someone at the company.

@Sheryl38806251imd4

if you've never had a trial or subscription, contact your credit card issuer and report fraud.

otherwise, contact adobe support per this thread.

Your subscription automatically renews each year until you cancel it.

Did you cancel your subscription?

Are you sure you're logging in with the proper ID (email & password)?

The fact that you never gave the card to Adobe surely proves someone else stole it - Adobe could hardly set this up themselves... This does indeed seem to be theft. It is very common for stolen card details to be used to buy Adobe subscriptions (which are then sold "cheaply" to scam victims who find it stops working as soon as the card is blocked).

Adobe won't talk to you to track down the account using a credit card number, if you don't know the account. So you need to contact your card issuer to cancel the card and get back the payments.

Not necessarily. I've heard that most companies that autobill get automatically moved to the new credit card when the old one expires or is replaced, and that may be what happened here.

you can contact adobe support (though they don't make it easy unless you have the info below), and you need to contact adobe support:

using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam.

p.p.s you can also use phone (but chat is usually quicker), https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
