The site says if i don't update my payment method, the plan will be automatically cancelled. That being said I have received an email, 3 months in a row, complaining that my payment method is invalid, despite the fact that the plan should have cancelled itself after the first month, no?
The fact that i'd need to update my payment method (and seemingly pay for the month that i didn't want and shouldn't have been charged for) to cancel the subscription via the "manage my plan" screen is a complete joke and utterly predatory.
To cancel online, yes your account & payment details must be current. That's standard practice in the payment industry. Nothing predatory about it.
If you wish to cancel early and pay a 50% penalty fee, you may reach out to Adobe Support directly. Or wait until your 12th month of service and avoid early cancellation fees. Your choice. Either way, these are the TERMS you agreed to when you joined.
