I need to Cancel my subscription- Can I get help?

I downloaded creative cloud as I thought it would be beneficial to helping me with college. I have noticed in the recent weeks that I don't use the package enough to justify the amount I pay for it. My subscription is a month-by-month payment method and I have only paid for a single month and the second payment is coming up soon.

I am looking to cancel my subscription as I have reached a point where I can't afford the monthly payment so I am trying to cancel my subscription before the second payment. I tried but it was trying to charge me over €100, I find this unreasonable. I can't afford the monthly payment and I am expected to pay 4 times more than my subscription. I understand why this fee is in place, but I have not even completed the first month of my subscription. I am not looking for a refund. I just can't afford to pay the cancellation fee, especially at this high price.

Did you read the Subscription Terms before you clicked to agree? https://www.adobe.com/misc/subscription_terms.html

You are most likely past the free cancel time limit... and your "month by month" plan is actually an annual plan with monthly payments

I'm having the same problem. I originally signed up for a 7-Day trial of just the standard Adobe (and yes I read the subscription terms, and nowhere did it say that I was signing up for a monthly pro annual plan)I actually went in and canceled it before the 7 days was up, and I still got billed for it. And now when I try to cancel it they want to charge me $109. Which I agree with you is absolutely ridiculous! And the reply that you received here never clarified if you went to that self cancel link whether or not you would be charged that extra fee.

Just a suggestion you might try downgrading your plan to the most basic which I think is $12 a month and that plan doesn't seem to charge you a fee for canceling. However I'm still trying to determine if you downgrade from a monthly annual pro Plan to just the $12 standard monthly plan if they still charge that $109. I felt like the way this was handled was a bit underhanded and not transparent business practices so I wouldn't be surprised if they do still charge you when you downgrade. Hopefully one of us can get a straight answer soon

if you were charged incorrectly, adobe support will fix that.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
