I still have the free T-shirt that came with the $50 upgrade to version 3. I have used every version for commercial and personal purposes since then (except 9, which sucked balls). I have written plug-ins since version 6. I'm a fan.
Now, I am old, retired and can no longer justify the monthly subscription expense for only occasional (but still enjoyable) use.
Is there any chance Adobe might have or initiate a graybeard appreciation subscription rate or do I just need to go back to CS3 on an ancient Mac?
RIP Mr. Warnock

cs2, cs3 and cs4 can no longer be activated.
and it's doubtful that anything you, and the many others with adobe business advice, post will impact adobe's business decisions.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Well you're just a little ray of sunshine, aren'tcha?
So, when I saw your note, I launched CS2, CS3 and CS5, and I can even run AI 8 in OS9 "Classic" mode on a OSX 10.4 Mac, so, there's that. Thanks Adobe, I guess.
As far as: "impact adobe's business decisions", Like I said, RestInPeace Mr. Warnock.
