Hello everyone,
I recently started a subscription for Adobe Animate because it was advertised as having a 2-month trial. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the program and decided to cancel it. However, I was surprised to see that Adobe is charging me a cancellation fee.
It turns out my plan was set as an annual plan with monthly payments, which I honestly didn’t realize when I signed up. I only wanted to test the software and not commit to a full year.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there any way to cancel the subscription without paying the penalty fee? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

others have had problems. i can't figure out why because it's apparent at the start that beyond the trial there's a cost. i see it all the time here and with offers (eg, xfinity) that i get all the time.

I know, but it was a problem of interpretation.

i can't see there's room for misinterpretation, but if you had trouble understanding the trial was 2 weeks (not 2 months), i don't know what can be said.

For anyone else reading this
.
Please read everything so you know what you are doing BEFORE you buy a subscription or start a trial... the link below has the information you need
.
Also... You are allowed ONE trial per account... if you have already had a trial, and you sign up for another trial, you will be charged immediately
.
If you buy a HIGHER COST Monthly subscription you may cancel at any time without a fee... when you buy an Annual subscription with Monthly payments, and you do not cancel in NO MORE than 14 days from the start of your subscription, you pay 1/2 of the remaining time if you cancel early... you also need to keep track of your annual renewal date, so you may cancel after your 12th payment, before your subscription renews and you start a new one year subscription
.
RENEWAL IS AUTOMATIC UNTIL YOU CANCEL
