McAfee SafeConnect via Adobe

I am being charged for the monthly subscription to McAfee SafeConnect. McAfee say they cannot change my renewal options etc. The service is linked via Adobe apparently. So far adobe specialist are of no help either. Please help, I can't believe money is moving and these two business are lost at how to touch it.

Obviously, you gave up your bank/credit card details otherwise they wouldn't be charging you.  Now if you're saying you think your card was compromised without your knowledge, file a fraud report with your bank right away.  They will probably ask you to sign some legal papers before it goes to local law enforcement for investigation.

Yes, you are correct. You are very intelligent. I did subscribe to the service. Your answer did not, however, solve my concern for how these two businesses can not cancel/unsubscribe an account from their services. They could not tell me any of the 5 Ws except for when it would renew. I was told it is lost in the "system" and it would keep charging me.

We don't work for Adobe or for that matter McAfee.

 

As fellow Adobe product users, we are not privy to internal billing & account matters.  Those are handled on a case-by-case basis by Adobe support.

Call your bank or credit card company and Dispute the charge as fraud. then get a New Number and tell the bank CC company to NOT pay any charges to that old number from this point forward
