month to month payment option greyed out

Hi!

I want to subscribe to premiere on a month to month subscription.

I won't be using the app for a full year, so I don't want to buy the yearly subscription. I need to be able to cancel after 6 months or so.

However, the "month to month" option seems to be greyed out for me, on the plan comparison page.

I can only choose "Yearly, billed monthly" or "Yearly, billed upfront".

Why is that? Is the "month to month" option only available for specific plans? If so, what are they?

What will be the cancellation fee if I subscribe to the yearly plan and cancel after the year is over?

Thanks!

Thanks for your question, Biacanti. The subscription options depend upon the software or service selected. Lower-cost services and software often offer the ability to pay for 12 months all at once. You can find more information on the different types of plans and what happens when you cancel at https://adobe.ly/3VJsXSY.

For your use case, I recommend you subscribe to a month-to-month plan for Premiere Pro. You can then complete the steps listed at https://adobe.ly/484n36n to self-cancel your subscription in six months without penalty. ^JW

if you're planning to cancel after 6 months you may want the annual subscription and pay the penalty for early cancellation.  for most plans 7 months is the break even point so if you're going to cancel after using for 6 months, the monthly plan is usually cost-effective.
