Need Help Cancelling My After Effects 1-week Free Trial

I’m reaching out because I’m struggling to cancel my 1-week free trial for Adobe After Effects. I’ve followed the instructions provided, but I can’t seem to find the option to cancel before the trial period ends and I get charged.

If anyone has successfully managed to cancel their trial or knows a workaround, I would really appreciate your guidance. This has been quite frustrating, and I feel that the cancellation process should be more transparent and straightforward for users.

Thank you in advance for any help or advice you can offer!

Hi Shivangi,

As I have already mentioned, I do not want to continue my subscription. I have been trying to cancel my 7-day free trial, but for some reason, the cancellation option is not available. Could you please look into this and provide a solution? Also, I would like to confirm whether I will be charged if this issue is not resolved in time.

I would appreciate your prompt assistance.

you'll have to bite the bullet and update your payment information whether you contact support, or not.

Elman, I am sorry that the payment method you submitted is not valid and is preventing you from managing or canceling your membership.

Please click on https://adobe.ly/4gIRfoB to contact a member of our support team who can help you make arrangements for restitution. Please use a different device if you are unable to reach anyone.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

if you're unable to follow the steps described, you'll need to await help from an adobe employee for the next step.  (if you don't get a reply here from a badged employee within 24 hours, repost.)

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
