I had to reinstall Windows and now Acrobat Pro is throwing an already activated error.  The deactivation link is greyed out in the app.  How can I deactivate and then activate on my rebuilt PC"

you have to use a computer that has a deactivated version and a modern (non-opera) default browser and deactivate using that computer while online and able to communicate with adobe's deactivation servers.

there's no work-around for deactivating.

are you seeing an excess activation count message when trying to reinstall and activate?
