New plan structure: what's the best for just desktop apps and a bit of AI inside PS?

My CC annual payment will come up again in October, and I just learned of the new Pro vs. Standard situation. My usage:

  • A few desktop apps: Mostly just InDesign, PS, and Acrobat; occasionally Illustrator, Premiere, or Audition
  • Occasional flurries of Generative Fill or Generative Expand inside PS (mostly when designing a quarterly magazine)

I don't need any mobile/cloud stuff - in fact, I wish apps would stop trying to get me to save files in the cloud. I'm old school.

So I know I need CC Standard for the apps. Most months I would be fine with 25 Firefly credits, but if I have multiple images for the magazine that need cleanup, I might use up that allotment, since I suspect that trying multiple times to get Generate Fill to give me what I want still counts every time, regardless of whether I merge the new layer or just delete it. Usually I'm only asking it to fill a small area, but obviously it's one credit regardless of size. I know that Content-Aware Fill is another option, but Generative Fill does a far better job. I don't know how many credits I have been using, because with 1,000/month I haven't needed to even think about it. So my first question is: Is there a way to see my AI credits usage history for the last few months? That would be helpful to know how much I'm using it.

Apparently credits don't roll over (if they did, that would be perfect for me - some months I don't even open Photoshop, let alone use AI). Also, apparently there is no way to just buy a few extra credits if you run out - you either subscribe to Firefly Standard or you don't. CC Standard + Firefly Standard is slightly cheaper than CC Pro, but before I decide I need to do that, my second question is: Is there another approach I haven't thought of?

I do plan to change my CC plan from Pro to Standard before it auto-renews next month. Are you suggesting I turn Firefly Standard on for a month only when I need it, and then cancel it until the next time I need it? I pay for CC annually, but I guess I could pay for Firefly monthly - if I only need it a few months per year, that comes out cheaper.

And what about my first question - is there a way to know how many credits I have been using recently?

Thanks, but that's just images generated independently from text in the Firefly interface. I want to determine how many credits I've used by doing Generative Fill and Generative Expand in Photoshop - I don't see that in Firefly's Generation History.
