Overpaying for two plans at the same time

Hi everyone,

 

I have ran into a little bit of an issue. I had a creative cloud student account which recently increased in cost at the end of June. My student status is still valid until the end of October 2021 according to my institution however when making this change on Adobe CC, it added an additional 1 year (paid monthly) subcription to my account. So effectively I'm paying for two Creative cloud subscriptions however if I want to delete the additional subscription, Adobe wants to charge me a €100 cancellation fee. Does anyone have any advice on how to correct this issue as I have been overpaying my subscription for two months now. Please see screeshot for reference.
