Possible scam and subscription cancelled

Hello I would like to ask about a very strange occurrence on my adobe account, I was notified tonight by email that my adobe subscription had been cancelled as fraudulent activity had been detected. I was quite confused by this and I checked my creative cloud and I was unable to access my apps. I checked my spam folder and I had another email from six days ago from a different email address that said fraudulent acitivy had been detected and I had a 5 day grace to 'resolve the issue', google had labelled this as a dangerous email. I have this subscription as it was provided to me for free by my states education department which recently changed how you access your adobe subrcription so that might have something to do with it. All in all I am extremely confused and would appreciate any help

Sorry, nobody here can help with an account or payment problem
This is a public forum, you need the link to Adobe support, not other users
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
-make sure that your browser does NOT block ads, scripts, or pop-ups
-you must also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for the link to work
This link will go directly to the chat option
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person
-Meaning type in the word Agent without the quote " " marks

- or https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html

emails that purportedly come from adobe (or anyone else) telling you there's a problem and to "click here" to resolve, are almost always scams.  do not click any links.  either ignore or directly to the website in question without clicking an email link.

in this situation, check your account to verify your subscription is what you expect and to verify your adobe id, https://accounts.adobe.com
