Question

Product cancellation and refund

Good day,

I have not come across a post with a definitive answer. My question is, if I cancel my subscriprion, do I automatically get a refund? I know how to cancel but I want to make sure that by cancelling my subscription, there will be a refund. I applied for the free trial and forgot to cancel it in time. I just want to confirm the refund before I cancel if there is something else I need to do to get a refund.

    Hi @luh_1977,

We appreciate you reaching out. As per your account details, you have a 3 day old Acrobat Standard subscription. Ideally, there should not be any charge for the subscription for first 7 days. The money is deducted after the free trial. You can get all the information here: https://adobe.ly/3RqUeaQ
    Have you been charged?

If yes, then you can cancel the subscription first and then request a refund from our support team here: https://adobe.ly/3GxKDg0

Let us know if you have any questions.

the definitive answer is all over the forums and is repeated here in the first link below.  specifically, whether you're even entitled to a refund depends on when you cancel. read.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, you'll need to await help from an adobe employee for the next step.  (if you don't get a reply here from a badged employee within 24 hours, repost.)

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
