Re: switching to the student plan

Hello! I am considering switching to the student plan to have access to all the Adobe apps. I already have a subscription with Adobe to access Audition. So my question is this: if I switch to the student plan/subscription, will the student subscription automatically replace my Audition subscription (since the student plan includes Audition)? I don't want to be paying for an Audition subscription and a student subscription that includes Audition. In other words, don't want to pay double for a single item. Makes no sense. Can someone please help?

no.  you'll need to cancel your current and start your student subscription.  there are some issues.

1. download all your files that are online in cc and not saved locally.

2. then contact adobe to switch, so you're not penalized for an early cancellation.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
