Received an Adobe email stating that I had created an Adobe ID

Hi...

An Adobe email I received yesterday states that I have created an Adobe ID.  I'm not sure what an Adobe ID is.

I have always been able to sign into my Adobe products using my primary email address.  This new email states that my secondary email address (found in my Adobe profile) is my Adobe ID.  

Can someone give me more information on this?  I didn't know which forum to use for help with this issue.

In simplest terms an Adobe ID is usually your primary email address where you receive your mail. 

  • You need an Adobe ID to log-in to these community user-to-user forums. 
  • You need an Adobe ID to log-in to your online account portal. 
    https://account.adobe.com/plans
  • And you need an Adobe ID to access your PAID Creative Cloud subscription. 

The same ID is often used for all 3 but not always.
