School Per-named User liscence Clarification

I am interested in a CC liscence for a small club I am starting at my public high school. The hope is to have four(ish) licenses available in the computer lab for 4 computers.

Does the Per-named User Liscence work similar to the Individual Liscence for personal use in that you can be signed in, but not active on two computers computers at once? This would be very helpful, because least four students can access the license from home.

The alternative to this would be the per-shared device license, which I believe--correct me if I'm wrong--only allows sign in on one device per license. I'm not sure if this would be worth the price difference for only 4 users.

Sorry if this is a mess, my main questions here are:

- Can you sign in on more than one computer with the first liscence?

- Can you do the same with the second?

- Which would be recommended for my situation?

Thank you so much!

Four named user licenses can be used by four named users. Four specific humans, nobody else. Not random students in the lab, that is a breach of the license. Adobe IDs and passwords must not be shared with anyone, nor left set up for others to use.

In the interest of clarity,  Schools & Universities can opt for either:

  • Shared Device Licenses (classrooms & labs),
  • Named User Licenses (small workgroups & depts.),
  • Student Pack Licenses (depts. with 100+ students),
  • Institution-Wide Licenses (access by all students & faculty).

Indeed, but the original poster seems to want the facilities of one kind of license (multiple people on one computer, without buying each user a license) and the facilities of another kind of license (users can log in on different computers), on a single license purchase. I may be wrong of course...

You will need to have your school IT dept admin contact Adobe Sales team M-F during normal business hours.

This is a product user-to-user forum, not Adobe sales or tech support.
