Question

Somebody tried to login my account

For some reason my gmail received two 6-digit auth codes, but no reason why they were requested. I was not online back then.

Is there any way to know why those codes were sent? Nobody has tried to login on my Google account even if it's username and password are the same as this Adobe account.  Nobody can even access my PC, so this is pretty weird. There is no IP history of logins to Adobe account like Google and Microsoft have, or?

I didn't find any way to contact Adobe security team and ask them for more information. It seems like Adobe does not have that good customer support for consumers, which is pretty weird imo.

does your adobe account have 2fa enabled?

No, because I don't think I need it. I have 2FA on my Google Account, so
nobody can access it but me. The mails were not opened.

I didn't see any login requests on my Google account nor did my PC register
anything suspicious.

Is it possible someone has tried to brute force login details and tried to
login my account but could not? I wish there was a detailed log to check
this, but even if there is GDPR, there is not that feature.

I'm trying to solve why were thise requests made, not how I could fill my
hides with 2FA backup keys (which is not that secure in the end, Google is
enough).

then why do you think adobe's involved?

I think someone has tried to use phishing software, but my password is 32
letters and numbers long the only another account I use it with only with
is my e-mail account and the password has never leaked anywhere. I know as
a professional that I don't need 2FA on Adobe account if I have it on my
Google account and Adobe requires e-mail verification for new unauthorized
IP address. I also thought if it could be because of attempt to recover the
password or if they were old so that it took some time for the mail to
deliver. I just want Adobe to tell me the logs what they really were. Used
to get every data because of GDPR.
