Student plan ended, automatically renewed at higher price
Hi,
I had a student plan and I wasn't notified before renewal. My plan renewed as a full membership today, so I'm now paying a price I can't afford. I read online today that I'd have to pay 50% of the remaining year to cancel, which would be around £300 (I don't have this, just graduated and on the job hunt). Since I was automatically put on a 'new' plan, would the 14-day grace period apply for cancelling, where with a new plan you have time to cancel without paying a huge cancellation fee? Does this count as a new plan even though it changed automatically?
Is there a way for me to contact a member of support in the UK directly to get definitive answers for this? I can't find an email address or phone number so I'm not sure if I'm out of luck or not.
