Subscriptions and unfair practice charges

I am so frustrated! I somehow sign up unknowingly to a subscription with auto pay that is so difficult to cancel !
on top of it adobe is going to charge me early cancellation fee $79 after already collecting 3 months of 19.99 for something I wasn't aware of ? I used acrobat something to send a signed doc  is all I needed and I got roped into all this... call me stupid and that maybe? I didn't know that I was doing it? I think it really sucks as a practice - I am disabled and just was trying to send one document and I didn't know how? It sucks that this is the culture that takes advantage of people who don't understand. So unethical!
I am sure they will take funds from me

it's stealing no matter if it's legal

I am just another victim of greed bs

i use to think adobe was a great company. Now they can just have AI do their dirty work!

Ask yourself why you're a victim when Adobe has 30 million other users who are happy with their subscriptions.

  • Maybe in your rush to download & use the software, you forgot to read the TERMS that you agreed to?
  • Maybe you lacked awareness that you were making a purchase even though you gave Adobe your payment card and expiration date?
  • Maybe you need a friend or caretaker who can assist you?

For anyone else reading this, do not give your credit card number until you know what you are doing

When you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while starting a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you enter your credit card number to buy a subscription

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
