I was paying for Premiere Pro for several months until I found out I could get all Adobe programs free through my university. I tried canceling my subscription but it would've charged me 80 or so dollars so instead, I tried signing up for the free Adobe through my school and it worked. I was not able to view my subscription and I assumed it canceled it. But, I saw a few days ago I was charged for Premiere Pro. Whenever I tried looking for help, it just told me to contact my schools IT department. So I did but they basically told me to contact Adobe. Since I'm still on my school account I am unable to get in contact with Adobes help desk so I am here asking if anyone had this problem before or if anyone has an idea for me to cancel my subscription.

Such issues can only be dealt with by Adobe support as only they have access to account information. If you are not able to get through to support via chat you can try using X(Twitter), tweet at @adobecare

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter:
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

For anyone else reading this starting a new subscription does NOT cancel an existing subscription
You must Cancel https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html
