Upgrading from a single app yearly sub to the full creative suite

Hi, 

I would like to begin a yearly subscription to Illustrator ($20.99USD) because I know for sure I will wish to use this program for the next year. I am unsure if it will come up that I need to use other Creative Cloud apps, but if it came up I would ideally like to just upgrade my subscription to the full suite. My question is, can I do this as a simple upgrade, or will I need to cancel the single app subscription and switch to the all apps subscription (which would presumably result in a cancellation fee, costing me more)?

Thank you, this was helpful. I'm not sure what the official policy is, but the AGENT I spoke with assured me I would not be charged a cancellation fee in future.
