I have paid for my Adobe subscription, been charged, I have also received a confirmation email. However, I cannot access my apps or view my billing. Therefore I cannot even unsubscribe and refund my subscription.

Go to https://account.adobe.com/plans and click “Manage plan” on the plan you want to cancel. Cancel the plan.
If this does not work, contact Adobe customer support. Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Pop-up blockers need to be disabled, you need to accept cookies! If the chat window fails to open, or is non-responsive, use a different device and/or browser to start the interaction.

Important: Adobe does NOT contact you unsolicited by e-mail or direct message. If you get contacted by direct message from a person, claiming to be an Adobe employee, look at that profile and look, if they bear the “Adobe Employee” marking under their name. Adobe support does not use Skype to give you support.

Jago, I am sorry you are encountering problems signing into the correct account. An organization manages the e-mail address you used to post to this public discussion forum. In the future, consider using a different e-mail address than the one managed by your educational institution if you purchase services or goods you wish to control yourself. if you want to use your apps, repost. there are solutions for the problem you're seeing. otoh, if you currently want to cancel make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html
