Just curious why the price of Creative Cloud for Europe is 60% higer? Okay, maybe there are some taxes etc but World of Warcraft online game with the same business model charges pretty the same for subscription in US and Europe.
Looks like discrimination, yeah?

I've tried, but they can tell by your IP address where you are. Yes I could go via a proxy, but I'll wait and just not update my lightroom or photoshop elements until they normalise the price.

I bought CS6 a few years ago and wanted to upgrade to CC as well but the cost for CC in the Netherlands are ridiculous compared to the US (at the time 50usd was 38 euro and they charged 69 euro for a download in the Netherlands). Chatted with Adobe on their supportpage.
They talked about extra costs doing business in other countries because of translation and so on.... Told them I use the English version and that pushing the download button in the Netherlands can't be that much more expensive as the download button the Americans use. Got a lot of blabla and replied with: Why do we need to pay more in the Netherlands? Your company uses "the Dutch sandwich" (google it) so you don't have to pay millions of tax so actually the Dutch customers should pay less to thank us!
They no longer wished to talk to me after that
Am considering Affinity Designer - Professional graphic design software for Mac if CS6 doesn't get any updates in time.....

It does seem darned expensive. I've been on the Photography package for some time and this year it went up 30-40% in cost. I thought I'd have a look at getting a bigger package to access Illustrator...chuffing heck suddenly the monthly sub is just crazy! It's not made for small businesses, that's for sure. I'll look into alternatives for graphic design.

Adobe just lost a customer today (not a big one). I tried to buy Lightroom Classic CC today. In the shop they offered an exchange rate of
1 DOLLAR = 1 EURO + 20% Tax. OK, seems to be how it works, but with conditions like this I will not be part of it. So bye bye...
