I downloaded the Adobe Photoshop CC for trial and it was supposed to be 30 days. I see that it is in fact only 7 days! What went wrong? How do I get the other 21 days? I can't possibly explore this program in just a week. I have a day job!! Is there a way to contact Adobe directly about this?

Hi Kevin,
As you discovered, Adobe was testing different free trial periods – and now they have made it the official standard for everyone:

This is the reply I got from "customer support":
Rehman: Hello! Welcome to Adobe support.
Rehman: Hi Kevin.
Rehman: I am reviewing your issue. Please stay online and do not close the chat window or browser in order to ensure our chat session is not interrupted.
Rehman: I understand you are trial is getting expired early, is that correct?
Rehman: Thank you for your patience.
Kevin Cotham: I just downloaded, installed it and ran it. It said "7" day trial. I thought it was supposed to be a 30 day trial
Rehman: Thank you for the confirmation.
Rehman: I will be glad to check and help you in this regard.
Rehman: May I know the operating system and the version that you are using?
Kevin Cotham: I am running the latest version of Windows 10.
Kevin Cotham: Adobe Creative Cloud 2015, Lightroom and Photoshop
Rehman: I understand your concern, we do not have an option to increase the trail period days.
Kevin Cotham: Why did you advertise 30 days and only deliver 7?
Rehman: Would you mind waiting for 2 - 3 minutes while I research on this issue?
Kevin Cotham: sure, it seems to be a common problem according to the adobe forums
Rehman: Thank you for the staying online.
Rehman: I checked and see Adobe is testing the software, due to which the trial period is decreased.
Kevin Cotham: So, if will my trial be extended once testing is over?
Rehman: I am sorry to inform you, trial can not be extended you will have to purchase the Applications in order to access it.
Rehman: Is there anything else I can help you with?
Kevin Cotham: Well, if this is the way that Adobe treats prospective customers, I certainly won't be a paying customer. This is very shady. You should change your website to reflect that the trial is only 7 days, not the 30 days that you posted. False advertising!
info: Your chat transcript will be sent to [email removed] at the end of your chat.
Rehman: I understand you concer.
Rehman: The 30 days trial is removed, it is no longer available to for 30 days.
Rehman: You can use the trial unless the trial is expired.
Kevin Cotham: I certainly can't make the decision to "lease" this product in just 7 days.
Rehman: There is no other option you can try the software till 7 days.
Clearly, they have no intention of making good of their advertised "30 day trial". I will NOT be buying Adobe products in the future. This is no way to run a business.

The problem is moot. I bit the bullet and paid for a year's subscription. This is a common problem however and should be addressed.

Except they didn't? I was offered 30 days and then today when I checked (and should have maybe 25 days left), I have 4 days left. I'm a broke college kid and can't afford the membership.

30 day trials are no longer offered for Creative Cloud products. The trial period is 7 days after which you must purchase a plan or the software stops working. Incidentally, qualifying students can join Creative Cloud for 60% off the regular price. It's approx USD $20/month for a 12 month subscription.

I am very frustrated.
I was asked to try out Photoshop and the new reader. We are currently using 9.
i Installed it one day and about a week and a half later I went to play around with the software and I am being told that my trial has expired. I didn't even get a chance to play with it once as the first day I was installing it and due to several projects on my plate, I only got to it a week later.
So people suggest I just do another trial on another computer using a different email. I could do that but once I get it installed, I may only get to it a week later. Very frustrating that adobe doesn't see that business have a lot on their plate, and I'm assuming non-business too. I wish they would take more interest in their customers.

I had the same issue. I didn't even get the chance to try the software. This is ridiculous...

Sorry that happened Louis.
This also could be a possible explanation for some folks whose trials lasted shorter than expected:

I paid for the it and it says your free trial is no longer available. I cannot get in touch with anyone who can help me with this problem either. You'd think they'd be concerned with the concerns of customers and/or potential customers. Terrible customer service and false advertising.
