Will Adobe Creative Cloud price become less expensive in the future? At the moment $29.99 a month for a year is reasonable price for CC subscription for current suite owners. Once the $29.99 promo ends, I can't afford $49.99 a month once the year is over.

Initially the cloud will be cheap (or appear cheap)..... if you look around the world at adobe's pricing the future does not look good..the cloud cost 50% more in europe and up untill quite recently Brazillians were being charged $95 per month (this has now be lowered probably due to outrage)...

the cloud will entice you in...as you become more dependant on it prices will slowly rise untill one day you wake up and realize you're being gouged to hell... with very little competition there is not much stopping them

One of the benifits of owned software was that adobe had to keep prices lower to match the rental rate....you wouldnt pay $2000+ to upgrade but pyschologically you would if you rented it.....

Users in and out of the US are able to complain to the FTC.. here is the direct link... https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

in the uk complaints can be filed at the office of fair trading (oft)

Huh?
You ever had a look on their business plans:

How should that work?
Are you not satisfied with this overwhelming ALREADY existing CashCow offering?
(They want to rise income till 2016 - for the moment they take loses to get enough users in their cloud - the price is simply a gift for you at the moment!!).
So, please let adobe live...

Cheaper? Huh?

According to what I have read on the site, the price of Adobe Cloud goes up from $19.99/$29.99 to $49.99 per month. After you finish your first year's subscription, the price of Adobe Creative Cloud will adjust upwards.

Link: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/buying-guide.html

* Current CS customers save on their first year of Creative Cloud membership.

Instead of paying $239.88/$359.88 per year, you will end up paying $599.88 per year. Before Adobe activated the Cloud services, loyal customers paid a preorder of $600 for indefinite usage. You could have technically skipped three to four years in between software upgrades.

Now, you will pay roughly $600 every year.

Software upgrade use to be released in five year intervals.

Wait, so if I ordered the $49/mo, it'll automatically increase next year?

More than likely it will continue to increase as the demand and rise of subscribers increases. There has been nothing to show otherwise other than high marks for Adobe. Don't be surprised if $99/mo is seen soon. Other subscriptions out there are easily charging that for Storage alone and software sites that only provide a single license are $149/mo. So Adobe still has plenty of room for increase. Like the others said above, the carrot is being dangled and we are blindly chasing it.

Ok so they remove valuable features in there products (oil paint) and now they're probably going ask a college student to pay $100 a month for these programs!? Thats completely ridiculous! If I cancel my CC subscription, do I still get to keep the programs on my computer?
