Wrong account in creative cloud

Question

Today I installed After Effects through a personal email, but when I went to the Creative Cloud app on my Mac it said it was logged in via my email for university and it had started a 7-day free trial.

why did this happen? and also what happens after that trial ends? I can't find any way to cancel the trial and I do not want to accidentally charge my university money.

check your account, https://account.adobe.com and verify everything is what you expect.

then sign out and then back in to the cc desktop app using the same adobe id/password used to check yoru account, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/activate-deactivate-products.html
