How long does it take to make the account deletion to complete?

I've deleted an adobe free account in order to free up its associated email to use in my other paid adobe account. However, I still can't free up this associated email after half a month. Pls advise.

As above I doubt once an email address is used for any type of Adobe account, whether or not you cancle that account, that same email address can be used in some other Adobe account.

Personally I have no idea why someone would have 2, modern, current, Adobe accounts using different email addresses and if they found a need for that to then cancel one and try to use that same email address on the other account.

i can tell you why someone would have 2 Adobe accounts with different email addresses--because Adobe doesn't allow you to replace an old credit card with a new and active one. It's called Adobe hell...
