Hello
We are currently using Acrobat 2020 Perpetual which is coming to end of life soon (just seen support has been extended until Nov 25) What is everyone replacing it with?
We were thinking of replacing it with Acrobat Classic, but can't find anywhere if this version includes the redact tool?
Can anyone help confirm or deny if this is true?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @rhysie_boy,
Thanks for reaching out.
Acrobat Classic contains the redact tool. The main difference you will find among tools is between the Standard and Pro variant: https://adobe.ly/442DFZP

Hi @Tariq Ahmad , are you saying that Classic matches the Standard feature set?

Great question, David.
The main difference between the Classic variant is licensing and feature updates. Classic is a one-time purchase and doesn't receive feature updates throughout the life cycle. Also, it doesn't include Online services like AI assistant, Acrobat Web features.
Hope that answers the question.

Not exactly, but thank you for the quick response.
I understand the difference between the purchase and updates.
Feature-wise, is Classic similar to Standard or Pro?

In terms of features, Classic is as good as Acrobat Pro, excluding online services (like AI assistant, Acrobat Sign, etc.).
