Acrobat DC extreme slow on windows 10

Hi,

I use acrobat DC on a regular base on different machines. Right now i am very frustrated because Acrobat takes waaay to much time for every 'move' it has to make. Can not work this way. The file of 12 pages (total seize 12 MB) contains CAD drawings. I use a Dell XPS laptop with plenty memory. Turning off virus scanner has no positive effect. Yes, i did a restart.

 

on the other hand, when i run the same file on a ipad pro it is as soomth as one can imagine in differnt applications. WHY?

As the application working slow, please try repairing the application installation. In the application, go to Help > Repair Installation.

Also, reset the application preferences using the steps provided here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792... 

 

If the issue still occurs, please try uninstalling the application using the cleaner tool (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html)

Reboot the machine and install the application from this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/download-install-acrobat-subscription.html
