Adobe Acrobat is only converting the first page of Word files to PDF.  Worked fine until this morning.  I've repaired, uninstalled/reinstalled, signed out, etc.  Nothing seems to work.

I am having the same experience.  When combining word documents, it runs through the "convert", says successful, and merges, but the end document only has the first page of each word file.  All others are blank.

Hi there

I hope this message finds you well. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble creating PDF files in Acrobat DC. I'm happy to help you troubleshoot this issue.

  • Is this an issue with a particular Word file or with all files? If it's just a particular file, try with a different one to see if that works. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, try downloading it to your computer locally and then trying to open it.
  • Can you tell me more about the workflow/steps you're doing? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.
  • What is the version of Acrobat DC you're using? To check the version, go to Help > About Acrobat. Make sure you have the recent version 23.03.20284 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot your computer once.
  • Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
  • Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...
  • You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
  • You may also try to create or combine the PDF online here: https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/tools/ and see if that works.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Amal

I am having the same problem converting both from Word and from Word Perfect, Yes, I, like many attorneys work with Word Perfect.  Please send a more helpful response. Mine two worked fine until recently and I never changed my prefernences. I have Acrobat DC. Thank you.
