Acrobat output preview zooms to top left corner by select/deselct separation

By selcting or deselecting of any separation the document zooms in and jump to the top left corner.

- The problem appears under Monterey and Ventura.

- Acrobat has the current version.

- Changing the zoom-preferences from automatic to window with oder 100% doesn't help.

Correct answer Amal.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well.

Please update the application to the new version 23.03.20284 from the help menu and reboot the computer once and see if that fixes the issue.

You may also download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

Let us know how it goes.

Hi @Philipp25487187aat1

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the workflow/steps you are doing, a small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.01.20177 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Hello Amal,

thanks for the quick feedback.

  1. The issue happens with diffrent PDF files (independent of PDF-type).
  2. It doesn't matter: network-file oder locally. Primary we're operating local.
  3. 23.01.20177 is the current  versionsnumber.
  4. We reinstalled the wohle Creative Cloud with Acrobat. The Installtion is fresh.
  5. The problem occurs with differend users.

Here a video. As you can see the view is "jumping".

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that the issue still persists. Would you mind collecting the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html , Procmon logs (Win Only) https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html  and share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the log file to the cloud, generate the link, and share that link with us for further investigation.

Amal
