Acrobat Pro DC hanging in MacOS Monterey 12.2

Acrobat Pro DC (v2022.001.00085) hangs during routine operations and crashes repeatedly. I have
uninstalled twice (once with CleanMyMac and once with Adobe Uninstaller) and re-installed. Acrobat
actually staggers the OS when it is thrashing to execute simple tasks.
Hardware: iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015 with 32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Have a crash report I can upload.

TIA

Hi Richard

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

As you have the recent version and tried removing and reinstalling the application with no luck, Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that helps.

Also, try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

if it still doesn't work, please collect the crash logs https://helpx.adobe.com/lu_en/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html  and the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html  and share them via the document cloud link as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/sharing-pdfs.html for further investigation.

Regards

Amal
