Acrobat - Unable To Print [macOS14 Sonoma]

I'm running Acrobat Pro ver. 2023.003.20244 on a MacBook Pro with an M2 running macOS Sonoma Ver. 14.0 beta 4, and for the last few weeks I've had this issue of unable to print any PDFs from Acrobat Pro. Everytime I try, I get these error messages: "The document could not be printed, kindly use our help page to troubleshoot", then "There were no pages selected to print." (Screenshots attached). I install the app through Creative Cloud, not the App Store. I've tried uninstalling the app, then re-installing it. I've updated the drivers for my printers (Epson WF-7840 and a Xerox WorkCentre 6515)...none of this works. Any suggestions on what I could do to fix this? My only work-around has been to load all my PDFs in Edge and print from there, which works, but I'd much rather just do all my work in one app.

Any suggestions for the Security (Enhanced) settings in Acrobat

2020.005.30539 where the options are different? I also am unable to print after upgrading to MacOS 14.1 Sonoma.

I would guess that Acrobat has not been tested or certified for the beta OS. Since the Mac print engine of CUPS has changed a bit, that might be why..

If I understand correctly, you want to print a pdf to postscript and distill to a new pdf, is this correct? If so, may I ask why you are using this workflow? there may be better options.

No, we are just trying to print a PDF document. In my case, I am trying to print my Adobe CC invoice for my accounts with HP LaserJet. It looks like Apple OS Sonoma/Acrobat printing is not working.

I just updated to Sonoma 14.0 and am having the same issue "There were no pages selectd to print." Did you find any solutions other than exporting as an image and printing that way?

Same problem. It is definitely a Sonoma/Acrobat issue.

It looks like reinstalling Acrobat solves the problem. It did it for me.

Same problem since upgrade to Sonoma: Distiller generates an error.

Reinstalling Acrobat didn't solve the problem here 😕

Only way to print the documents is opening the "advanced" menu in the print dialog and select "print as image"...

I am not sure where the 'distiller' fits into this problem. Are you trying to convert postscript files to PDF? The post was about printing from Acrobat to a physical printer.

Well, I try to print from Acrobat but somehow this launches Distiller,
which throws the error.

This wasn't the case until last week, before I I stalled Sonoma.
Also, this doesn't happen with the "print as image" workaround.

So, I have no idea why Distiller is starting in the first place 🤷🏻‍♂️

That's very odd. I only see my 'real' printers in the print dialogue box. Distiller is not even offered as an option. I read somewhere that trying to print protected files sometimes causes confusion – but I think you would be better off starting a fresh topic to get more help or getting in touch with Adobe support, as that's a very odd and specific problem. (i.e. Acrobat launching Distiller when trying to print) Good luck.

Same issue here. Sonama update with Acrobat Pro on Mac OS X. When I try to print a PDF file from Acrobat to my Canon printer, the Distiller app opens (don't know why). Then it crashes and shows the error modal : "Impossible to create a PDF file". I don't know why Distiller opened. I don't know why it tells me "create a PDF file" while I'm trying to Print.
So, the only solution from now is to stop using Acrobat, and printing from browser.

Bonjour
SOS - SOS Merci
