Adobe Acrobat DC Pro - Navigating into improper fields during Prepare Form mode

Hello,

We currently have a user at our company that is running v20.006.20042 of Adobe Acrobat DC Pro experiencing an anomaly. This user creates fillable PDFs for the company and starting today, when they enter Prepare Form mode to test the PDF and make sure that certain fields can't be edited, she will move from field to field and the software will navigate into fields that are not meant to be edited. She is stating this was not happening yesterday and the behavior is abnormal since normally these fields can't be accessed. It should be noted that the PDF in question behaves as desired in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC but not in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro. I'm having a hard time understanding this issue and how to correct it. I did have the user try resetting their preferences using this article here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082?page=1

However, that did not make a difference. Is there anything you can do for me?

Thanks.

All fields are editable in Prepare Form mode. That's the point of that mode.

Only when you exit it and return to normal viewing mode do they become disabled, or hidden, etc.

Is there someone that can help me with this issue? I'm still looking for a resolution but I have not found one.

Exit the Prepare Form mode and test the form.
