Adobe Acrobat Freezes

Since today on 8-4-2025, Adobe Acrobat has been freezing after open the program or opening a PDF file.

Could tell me what is happening. My email address is [Moderator: Removed Personal information]

Sorry for the troubled experience, and thanks for reaching out.

Let's try the following: 

1. Use the Acrobat Cleaner tool to uninstall Acrobat: https://adobe.ly/40ReUOx

2. Reinstall Acrobat.

3. Check for pending updates, launch Acrobat > Help > Check For Updates. 

 

If the issue is still reproducible, help us with diagnostic logs: 

To collect the logs:

  1. Download and run the Diagnostics Utility from:  https://adobe.ly/4mwr6ww
  2. Click on Start Diagnostics. Ensure advanced logging is checked.
  3. Launch Acrobat, reproduce the issue with your file.
  4. Once done, click Stop Monitoring.
  5. Copy the Log ID and share it with us.

Thanks, using the Adobe Cleaner and reinstalling Adobe Acrobat resolved the freezing issues. This really helped.
