Adobe Acrobat PDF pack - quality of conversion into pdf is far below "Micrsoft Print to PDF"

Hello,

I have just subscribed to a 1-year access to that pack. Unfortunately, I cannot get a support, as per Virtual assistant dixit.

The problem I face: when I convert a Word document of about 8 Mo, it turns out into a PDF of 171 Ko, which does not suit my (printing) needs. Where can I select the "conversion re-sizing"?

At this stage, I am better off with converting Word in PDF by using "Microsoft Print to PDF", a free solution.

I could not find information on that topic in the assistance information by Adobe.

Thanks very much in advance for whomever who can assist me with this problem.

Could you please share the Word file and PDF you created?

Did you check if this happens with other files too? Try converting another Word file and check.

Thanks Meenakshi for reaching out. Please find attach another Word file I have converted with Adobe Acrobat PDF pack. I am working on my CV, so I have made the initial document anonymous, and changed the picture to a different, and smaller, one (instead of 8Mo, it is 4.5Mo): the problem remains - the size of converted document into pdf is only 149 Ko. Great if you can assist me in solving this. I am not looking to keep the 4.5Mo, but a lot more than 149 Ko, so when the CV is emailed, then printed, the picture remains of good quality. To be fair, I note that Microsoft Print to PDF on this new document has performed less well than with my original CV (487 Ko, i.e. 9%, instead of 1652 Ko with the 8.2 Mo Word file, i.e. 19%). Thanks again for looking in the matter.
