Adobe AI Assistant Pricing in Office?

I see pricing for Adobe AI Assistant Pricing but I have a few questions:

 

1. The price is so small, why not just add this to the base pricing for Adobe Acrobat Pro? 

2. Do these AI Assitant feature work in side of the Adobe addins inside of Office products?

  1. Regarding pricing: 
    The decision to offer Adobe AI Assistant as an add-on stems from providing flexibility to our users. Not all customers may require AI-assisted features, so keeping it separate ensures that users only pay for the features they need. This approach also allows us to continue innovating and expanding AI capabilities without impacting the base pricing of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  2. Integration with Adobe add-ins for Office products:

Currently, the AI Assistant is designed to work seamlessly within Adobe Acrobat Pro and other supported Adobe environments. However, integration with Adobe add-ins inside Office products is not yet available. We’re continuously exploring ways to enhance compatibility and expand functionality across platforms, so your feedback on this is invaluable!

However, we acknowledge that aligning the AI add-on with existing subscriptions, including renewal dates, would provide a more convenient and cohesive experience for our users.
  • Commitment to User-Friendly Solutions: Your suggestion about aligning AI features with Creative Cloud subscriptions is helpful, and we will share this feedback with our teams working on future improvements. At Adobe, we’re always exploring ways to enhance the subscription experience, as we continue developing AI offerings.
  • Existing AI Subscriptions and Renewals: For now, AI subscriptions operate separately, meaning they renew independently of Creative Cloud or Acrobat subscriptions. If you choose to subscribe to the AI Assistant now, its renewal will follow its own cycle. We recommend reaching out to Adobe Customer Support if you have any specific questions or concerns about your billing cycle.
  • Waiting for Alignment: We understand if you’d prefer to wait until your subscription renewal to add AI features. In the meantime, we encourage you to explore Adobe's updates, as we continue to expand and enhance AI capabilities across our product portfolio.

@Tariq Ahmad Can I ask you another question and make a suggestion? 

 

I like the option for the AI features but I need it to align with my subscription. If I cancel my sub, I don't want to keep getting bills for AI features. When we sub the creative cloud, can Adobe give the AI-Addon feature option clearly then? 

 

I know you'll be adding more AI but I think this is best way for everyone. Also, for existing users that sub AI now, can you align with their sub when they resub annually?  I want the AI features but I'll wait till my sub renews to do the AI unless you give a commitment that what I buy/sub now will align with my subscription in the future.

@Tariq Ahmad Thanks for the consideration. Adobe is getting really powerful GenAI tools and the value is strong. Marketing and Creative is probably the most promising field for GenAI so I'm working to certify on your tools this summer so I can be partner-ready in July 2025.
