Adobe sign not working

When send pdf to be signed, receive email, but there is no link to open the document to do so

Hi there 

 

We are sorry for the trouble. As described above, there is no link to open the PDF when sending for signature.

 

Would you mind sharing the exact workflow or steps you are doing to share the file for the signature? Are you using the Fill and Sign tool in Adobe Acrobat / Reader DC? Or Adobe Sign subscription?

Hi Amal

Yes, use Fill and Sign. We used to get this email with a link to the document (picture 1), then once signed we receive a pdf with an extra page which shows the audit trail.

Now when we do it, (picture 2) there is no link, you cant click on the document to sign

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat /Reader DC installed? To check the version of the application please use the link - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

 

A new version of Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC is now available. version 19.21.20058. Please update the application to the new version go to Help > Check for Updates.

Also, please try to reset the preferences to default using the link here (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082) and see if that helps.
