I've been using the auto-fill feature for quite some time. Suddenly, an error occurred. The auto-fill is still suggesting, but only for a single file. When I move to another file, the suggestions are gone, and I have to re-type everything. Please help me bring back the feature so that the suggestions can be used in any file.
I've also tried all the preferences, from turning them off to switching between basic and advanced settings, and I've restarted my app. Nothing works

Hi @vervielle
I hope you are doing well; I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I can imagine how frustrating it must be.
To start troubleshooting, could you let me know if this problem began after a recent update or if it has been persistent even before that?
Additionally, it's crucial to ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat DC installed. You can check this by going to Help > About Acrobat. The most recent version is 23.06.20320. If you don't have this version, go to Help > Check for updates and make sure to restart your computer afterward
You can also try repairing the installation from the help menu for Windows users.
Another step you might consider is resetting Acrobat preferences. There's a helpful guide here that will walk you through the process.
If the issue persists, creating a new test user profile on Windows with full admin rights or enabling the root account on MAC might be worth a shot.
Please keep me updated on how this goes.
Best regards,
Amal

Hello, before receiving this reply, I discovered a trick to make it work. When I opened a PDF file directly from my Outlook emails by double-clicking the files and typing my words using the fill tool, then saving it directly to my local device, it magically suggests on the other files. So, it somehow works, but not all the words I inputted really stay. It only partially works.
